Dear Atomic,
In my opinion it could be useful for muscular symmetry improvements and/or "body balance" evaluation or something like that, but it isn't right for physical conditioning (the load and the speed is too low) and it isn't close to jumping motor programs.
To train volleyball and implement the right conditioning ways of its motor programs is a different thing, I mean.
